Additional info & updates

11/1/10 - Hoping for a fee waiver from SMU and UT Houston. We'll see what happens

11/2/10 - I will send out an app to SMU sometime this week and that will be the last one for a while...

11/12/10 - Got a call from admissions official at UT Austin. They said my app was "competitive" but they asked for a GPA addendum (I've got 2 years with a GPA around 3.85 and 2 years with a GPA around 2.9). I sent in the addendum with an additional LOR which my professor never submitted to LSAC.

11/19/10 - My app is now on "hold" for regular decision. A little dissapointing, I guess I was on the margin of getting in but they did not like my addendum. This seems a little better than getting waitlisted!

12/4/10 - Got my acceptance letter from Georgetown in the mail yesterday. Couldn't think of a better way than that to start the weekend!

12/22/10 - Rejected at Notre Dame. That kinda blows, but accepted at U of Illinois w/ $$$. Have to reply to Dean Pless' email today!

01/06/11 - BU admissions officer left me a voicemail notifying me of my acceptance today! I will wait to receive the financial package before making my final decision. But BU is definitely my favorite law school and I plan on attending as long as they provide a good package!

03/02/11 - Spoke with BU finanical aid office. Offered $35k per year and $10k living stipend for the first year! Very excited. This pretty much seals the deal for me as soon as I get a confirmation letter in the mail!

you have set yourself up for a wonderful cycle thanks to that impressive LSAT score. Good luck!

I like the way you developed your cycle, but I still think you should give some more T-14 schools a shot. You should at least add UVA and Michigan. Our stats are very similar. Good luck!

One down....

Looks like we're in at Georgetown...let's keep it up. Being out of state...UVA might take us forever.

Congrats on Gtown. That's interesting about UT...what'd you include in the addendum (if you don't mind)
