Don't think you needed to apply to so many schools =) Congrats on the great cycle so far, though!

I agree in principle, but my significant other is also applying for grad school this year. More applications = more options = more likely to be able to go to school in the same city :-)

Booby87, congrats to you on your fantastic cycle too!! Hope you hear back from Yale soon... and I'm jealous that you got a super fast response from UVA, can't make any sense of how they're timing decisions.

Seriously?

Can I just ask, why would you apply to aht many schools, with a GPA/LSAT like that? It makes no sense. Are you seriously going to go to Boston College, George Washington, etc...? All you're doing is stealing other people's spots and you wasted more a thousand dollars on ridiculous applications. You should have applied to T-10 period (more like T-5).

Yes, I'm seriously considering every school I applied to. 1) My significant other is applying to grad school (see my response to Saxonthebeach6 above) 2) Financial aid/scholarships

You really have had one amazing cyle. You have guts to turn down Harvard AND Yale :P But if you're looking for NY or DC, you do have some nice options, especially with that scholarship to Columbia! I didn't realize that they offered good scholarships like that, which is really nice to help offset the costs. Have you been to the Columbia campus? Me, I'm still debating my options, narrowed down probably to Vanderbilt because of the scholarship, Georgetown, and UVA. Cornell is a great school, but I'm not too keen on Ithaca lol. Anyway, good luck! I'm excited to hear where you decide to go :) It looks like you have lots of options in a lot of locations, so hopefully you and the SO will be able to be in the same area!

I was thinking...

You must really have a great SO to give up Harvard. I love my bf but I know I have to go to the best law school for me, which unfortunately does mean a LD relationship. My advice though is to make sure you make the best decision for you so you don't have any regrets! But, pretty much, I think you're awesome for basically getting accepted to every school :P

on completing your cycle!!!!! I bet it feels SO GOOD to know where you're going. And honestly, I really think you made the best choice. Full ride at NYU is incredible. You seriously had the best cycle =) I'm really really close to being set on Georgetown! I'm an alternate on their scholarship list. Maybe some of that money they offered you will get sent my way?! ;) Congrats again on such a great application cycle and good luck at NYU next year!!!

thanks!

Thanks for the advice about Georgetown scholarships. I've been in touch with them and am really impressed by the office!

hey!

It's Georgetown for sure for me :) Thanks for the friendly advice. Good luck next year! You'll love NYU!
