Additional info & updates

11/23/2009 - Was on the phone with a friend when I saw a call waiting -- area code 617! HLS acceptance! O frabjous day, calloo callay!

11/17/2009 - Got an email from UVA, asking me to call -- for an interview, I presumed. Instead was told I'd been accepted and given a full scholarship! That's a nice way to start the day!

11/11/2009 - Happy Veterans Day, all. Dropped three more applications, just to be on the safe side.

11/5/2009 - Received an email from Harvard Admissions setting up a phone interview for next week. That seems like a good sign!

10/17/2009 - Got my score last night. Stunned to see a 180 pop up in my inbox! My LSAC page continues to say the same thing, so I guess it's not a practical joke. Talk about a serious gameday bump! I'm very excited.

9/26/2009 - LSAT today! I think it went well, but not necessarily outstanding. I know I didn't choke, but based on the average number of problems I dropped in my practice tests, I know it wasn't perfect. I think between 4 and 8 wrong for a score of 172-176. If it's a 174 or above I will be EXTREMELY happy.

9/18/2009 - Took a fourth (or so) practice LSAT today. Scored 175, including two embarrassingly stupid mistakes. As of now, I think it all rides on the LSAT. My undergrad GPA is excellent, I have decent softs (esp military experience), can write a good PS. A mid-to-high 170s on 9/26 will leave me very confident of my T14 (even HYS) chances.

Yeah I'd have to agree with anonymous #2. Who does 3 1/2 years in the Army? Red flag there. Also your overall GPA is 4.00 but your in-major GPA is 3.97? I hope your major wasn't math.
