Additional info & updates

$$ is the amount over three years.

*1/19/15* In at Hastings via email!

*1/18/16* Waitlisted at Temple, withdrew my application.

*1/15/16* Received admit packet from Gonzaga in the mail and received a phone call from Florida State letting me know that I'm in!

*1/13/16* Accepted at Cardozo via phone call from the dean. Also offered a $25,000 per year scholarship!

*1/8/16* Rejected from University of Washington, which I expected. Would have chosen ASU over UW even if I got in, so no biggie. My first rejection!

*12/26/2015* Acceptance package from Syracuse. Came with a shirt and sticker, which I thought was a nice touch. Offered $40,000 per year with 2.8 GPA requirement.

*12/22/2015* Received an email from Columbia with a PDF attachment stating they will still consider my Early Decision application, but are postponing a decision until April, which releases me of the binding agreement. I'm shocked they didn't just reject me with my numbers. So the dream school is still technically alive, but I know how slim my chances are.

*12/21/2015* Accepted at University of Maryland via email!
Accepted at University of Oregon with $27,000/year unconditional scholarship!

*12/18/15* Accepted at Seattle U with $29,000 Presidential Scholarship, renewable each year with academic stipulations.

*12/16/15* In at Univ. of San Diego via email, In at Syracuse via status checker.

*12/3/2015* Received voicemail from dean of admissions with scholarship information for Miami. 24k/year, renewable each year with 2.5GPA.

*12/1/2015* Accepted at University of Miami via email.

*11/30/2015* Accepted at Seton Hall via status checker.

*11/25/15* Accepted at University of Denver via email with scholarship information.

*11/24/15* IN at Arizona State! Just got a call from the dean. SO happy!

*11/20/15* Application held for further review at Washington & Lee.

*11/17/15* Accepted via email to Santa Clara.

*11/12/15* Priority waitlisted at University of Colorado Boulder. Not sure if that's better than a regular waitlist, or if they just added priority to make it sound better.

Similar stats and a lot of the same school - looks like the cycles starting out great. I am just starting to get my apps in so this is giving me some hope. Good luck on the rest :-D

Hey there, friend. Our stats are kind of similar! I 153 LSAT, 3.08 LSDAS, 3.71 degree GPA. However, the 5 point difference between our LSAT scores could easily make or break an admission decision. Anyway, it seems as though we have a few of the same schools in mind (Cardozo, UW, Notre Dame, Oregon, Seattle). I'll definitely be watching your page! And, most importantly, congrats on that waitlist @ Columbia. Even though it's still up in the air, that's freaking amazing. If I were you, I'd not only email admissions about your continued interest, but also take a flight out to tour the campus and meet the admissions staff.

Congrats on all the acceptances! You're definitely one I'll be watching. How did you hear from ASU?

Tuesday, January 05 2016 at 10:17 AM

Congrats on the acceptances!! I am shocked you were waitlisted at Temple?? I am applying to mainly Philadelphia schools and after extensive research, you seem to be right in their wheel house. Good luck with your decision!

We have similar stats and are applying to many of the same schools (obviously?). Keeping my fingers crossed for you to get into Columbia.

Congrats on all your acceptances! Did you end up with any scholarship money from FSU?

Tuesday, November 03 2015 at 02:40 AM

Hi katie914 - I withdrew before applying for any scholarships. I believe you have to submit FAFSA before they offer money at FSU. :)

Do you think you have a top choice among those that have accepted you?

Tuesday, November 03 2015 at 02:40 AM

Right now I'm leaning towards ASU, but I'm negotiating scholarship money, so we'll see!
