4/25/2013: DONE! I've submitted my last withdrawal. I feel so incredibly blessed - thanks to everyone (you all know who you are!) who's given me invaluable advice, support, and hugs, on my future - I feel much less lost than I did six months ago. I also love "mentoring" (aka telling people stories), so if you have any questions about any of this stuff, law or graduate (I ended up applying to quite a few combinations of graduate + law programs). I have all this knowledge in my head, and it'd be great if someone else got to pick my brains and put it all to good use.

Currently attending a graduate engineering program. Let me know if you have questions, comments, concerns, or other thoughts - would love to meet my future classmates and colleagues.

11/7/12: Got my first T14! Georgetown came today in a small, thin envelope that scared me when I first saw it (postmarked 11/4/12). I especially appreciated the nice handwritten note. Looking to visit the campus in the spring!

10/12/12: Columbia Submitted. I've finally gotten over my trepidation of submitting T14 applications and started!
9/24/12: WashU submitted. Vanderbilt Interview scheduled for 10/3.

10/11/12: Georgetown Submitted.

10/4/12: Well, I just had my Vanderbilt interview. One of the admissions office representatives flew all the way out to California to interview people in the area. Mostly standard interview questions. Fingers crossed; hope I did well :) Submitted my Vanderbilt application right afterwards. Note to anyone wondering: Vanderbilt prefers you fill up your resume as opposed to limiting it to one page.

09/24/12: WUSTL submitted (JD/MA East Asia program). Incidentally, WUSTL has waived all application fees for this cycle.

09/18/12: Received a Fee Waiver from USC. The day after I submitted (no refunds). Such is life...

9/17/12: USC Submitted. Need to slash my list of schools down, as well as slash my PS down to 2 pages for the next set of schools I'm applying to. I'm also still undecided on how long the resume should be (I've heard both "include everything!" and "1 page only!"). Right now I've included basically everything (well, no school organizations where I was a "member" or whatever"), but I might make a 1 page version. My work history isn't very long, but I've done so many things on campus that the entries alone nearly fit a page.

9/15/12: Santa Clara and William & Mary submitted!

7/14/12: Finished my resume. Commence personal statement writing.

7/1/12: Narrowed school list down to ~30 schools. Actual number will be dependent on how many fee waivers I am eligible for.

Great numbers! Study for the patent bar in your spare time. Learning about USC 101, 112, 102, and 103 is time well spent. Cheers.
