Extra Curricular Information

Sub-160 prior to my 164, and applied late this cycle after my LSAT in February.

The following link is my results from last year's applications:

Consult Top Law Schools for retake advice! LSN and TLS are the two most valuable tools for law school admissions, take advantage of them!

Finally, NEGOTIATE. Too many people settle for scholarships. Went from initial 50% offer at U of I to 75%, saving me $30,000 of debt upon graduation.

Additional info & updates

1/7/2013 - Wait-listed at University of Illinois, again, ugh.

3/6/13 - New Feb LSAT score of 164! Hopefully I don't have to take another year off but we will see.

3/7/13 - Southern Illinois originally gave me a $6000 annual scholarship, but bumped it up to a full tuition scholarship due to new score. JMLS upped scholarship from $30,000 to full tuition plus $10,000 stipend.

3/11/13 - SLU originally gave me $22,000 annual scholarship. Due to new score, bumped it up to $27,000 annual scholarship.

3/13/13 - Chicago Kent increased scholarship from $25,000 annually to $30,000 annually for LSAT increase.

3/25/13 - $15,000 a year to George Mason. Would love to study in DC for three years, but the scholarship needs to be higher and can't have a top third stipulation.

Also accepted to University of Georgia! In state equalizer + $7,500 per year. Tuition would be about $10,000 a year.

Scholarships increased by SLU and W & M

3/28/13 - Scholarships increased by George Mason and Chicago Kent.

4/8/13 - Wait-listed at Wash U! I am relieved just not to be rejected. Hopefully my numbers are a good fit after Wash U's deadline

4/10/13 -In state tuition waiver at Wisconsin!

Accepted to U of I with 50%!

4/15/13 - Scholarship increased to 66% at University of Illinois.

4/26/13 - Scholarship at W & M increased from $24,000 / year to $26,000 / year.

4/30/13 - Deposits at U of I and UGA, remaining on wait-list on BC and Wash U, withdrawn from everywhere else.

5/22/13 - Scholarship increased at University of Illinois to 75% tuition. With residency, this is a deal-sealer for me!

5/23/13 - WOW. Accepted to Wash U off the wait-list. Someone PLEASE give me $45,000 a year so I can attend here lol.

5/24/13 - Wash U sent 22,000 a year scholarship. I sent back a request for more, let's see some magic happen!

6/3/13 - Scholarship increased by $2,000 a year to Wash U. Not enough to deter from U of I, will be withdrawing!

Arizona is probably my top choice at the moment just because I am pretty debt averse. But I plan to visit and write additional essays for Michigan on the off chance that I actually get pulled off the waitlist.
