1/20/2013 Deferred by Moritz until March. I'm pretty relieved by this because it means they still are considering me. I have a few legal recommendations in the works and an LSAT addendum. I hope its enough..

1/22/2013 Accepted to UD!! (via status checker) I have to wait for the official letter to see if I have received any scholarship money. Very relieved to know that I'll have the opportunity to go to law school.

1/23/2013 Accepted to SIU Law! (via phone call) I was also informed that I received a scholarship! Details will be mailed out in an official packet today. It's been a great week so far!

1/26/2013 Received letter from Southern Illinois including two scholarships; one for $5,000 per year with a 2.3 GPA stipulation and the other for $500 per year with a 2.8 GPA stipulation. Both guaranteed the first year.

1/28/2013 Received official letter from University of Dayton and received a scholarship for $6,000/yr; total of $18,000 over 3 years (stipulations not specified).

2/6/2013 Got a call from a 2L at UD inviting me to the prospective law day. She also said that there's a 2.9 stip for the scholarship. Not bad.

2/13/2013 Denied by MSU via email but offered an opportunity to participate in their summer program which I declined. Not one of my top choices but still surprised by the outcome. Mildly disappointed.

2/15/2013 SIU sent a letter changing my second scholarship's GPA stipulation to a 2.3 which is now the same as the 5k scholarship.

2/19/13 Waitlisted by UC today. Not much to say.

2/25/13 Review completed by Capital. I'll have the decision via mail hopefully within the next few days.

2/26/13 Received a call from the Assistant Director of Admissions and Financial Aid at Capital congratulating me on my acceptance to the law school. In addition, I was told that I had been awarded a 15k scholarship that is renewable for the remaining two years with a 3.0 GPA stip. I'm excited about this one!

3/16/2013 Will receive an additional scholarship from UD to cover some of my book cost in the amount of $1,000.

3/20/2013 Rejected by Ohio State, very disappointed but I could go to Capital and possibly transfer the following year. Regardless, still hoping for good things for the remainder of the cycle.

3/21/2013 Phone interview with Case alumni. Very informative and beneficial.

3/27/2013 Rejected by W&M. Not surprised but why the fee waiver?

4/1/2013 Capital GPA stipulation changed to 2.3.

4/10/2013 God has truly blessed me today! Case is a yes!!

4/10/2013 Offered $15,000/year from Case
with an additional $5,000 stipend for the first year!

4/12/2013 The blessings of God are coming down on me! Case Western increased their offer to $20,000 per year with a $5,000 stipend for the first year totaling the money over 3 years to 65k!! Definitely on the top of my list now!

4/14/2013 I'll be attending Case Western in the fall; Good luck to everyone in the remaining cycle!
