ADDITIONAL INFO & UPDATES

Single Working Mother while I earned an undergraduate degree at night --- graduated Magna Cum Laude.

First notification and it's a rejection. Oh well, didn't think Georgetown was too real a possibility anyway.

In at GW! Didn't get ED but happy with RD.

Rejected from Virginia, no surprise.

In at Maryland, curious now about any scholarship $$.

Got a call from GW ... awarded a merit scholarship, $30k a year plus a $14k housing stiped!!!!!!

Waitlisted at American. Guess I should have shown some interest.
Oh well.

Made it official -- GW. Can't refuse that kind of money!

Either way it's a great school, and considering they notified you so early that you were accepted I bet that bodes well for some love!! I know several EDers who haven't gotten any sort of contact at all.

I'm not sure yet. I'm thinking I might like to live in The Aston to be surrounded by other 1Ls but kind of depends on how expensive it is. It looks really nice so I'm thinking I may just shell out the money and try and live there for 1L and then find somewhere off of Cragislist during 2L (or for next year if it's too expensive). Anyway, the idea of living with other students in the same boat is really appealing to me. How does GW rank in terms of your prefernence out of your applications?
