ADDITIONAL INFO & UPDATES

Fee Waivers: U. Chicago, Columbia, Vanderbilt, UVA, Cardozo

12/13: Thin ivory envelope from GULC, with a handwritten note. First acceptance!
12/15: In at Vandy! Small, letter-sized envelope.
12/28: In at GW, via email.
01/09: Phone call from Cardozo - full scholarship! Hard to wrap my mind around that.
01/14: small letter from the UW.
01/17: In at UVa, via snail mail. Wishing more schools sent big letters - these thin envelopes scare me when I get the mail.
01/25: Email from NU - in!
02/05: Small letter from Columbia. Reserve. Wish they would actually say waitlist, as opposed to defer. But I think it means the same thing.
02/06: Phone call from Chicago. Yay!!
02/08: Dinged at Yale. Very expected. Glad they sent it now instead of waiting two months.
02/11: Defer email from Harvard. Excited it was not a rejection!
02/13: Call from Penn. Yay!
03/19: Email from Fordham
4/15: Snail mail from NYU - I'm waitlisted.
4/22: Email from Harvard.
05/16: Letter from NYU. Dated May 13. I'm off the waitlist!

Congrats on UW, though I guess its prob'ly anti-climactic for you. I'll try to contain my jealousy (consider apps in the order they are complete my left foot).

Hey thanks, hopefully they've got good news on the way for you. That Columbia waitlist is a bit frustrating, yeah? Dunno if I'm actually still considering it as will prolly miss priority aid deadlines even if admitted.
