2 masters - 3.50 and 3.80
sent in addendum regarding low lsat. bad test taker. hopefully they consider my soft factors.
4.1.08 this waiting is killing me. Any comments on how long both schools will take?
I think my personal statement let schools know what I'm about in such a way that they would be able to determine whether or not I would be a good fit for them. That's what mattered to me.
Forensics! That is inCREDIBLE! Very exciting field that I'd imagine takes quite a bit of aptitude.
Thank you for the message though. Were I you, I'd definitely apply to more schools, at least 20. Your double masters would bring so much to any law school. I'd love to have classmates with double masters in psych and forensics.
Even MORE excitement from you!! I'll bet you are a wealth of information.
I can imagine that getting up and just going would be quite difficult, what with the family and business ownership.
I sincerely want to wish you the best of luck because you sound like such an intriguing person!
Go get em!
p.s.: Thank you for that trivia piece; I adore blurbs like that!
Thanks!!! I'm debating on if I should attend. I just received the email advising me that my decision was ready and to log in to find out what it is. It is a home school and I have until the April 18 to decide. We'll see i'll keep you posted
Thanks for your post on my profile. site. You definitely have reason to keep hope alive! You have a lot going for you with your two masters degrees. My suggestion is that you should visit the admissions offices at FIU and Nova. Tell them about your keen interest in their programs. Right them a letter. The more interest you show, the better your chances. I just withdrew my acceptance at FIU, so now there's at least one new open space in the class starting in Fall 2008. Hope it goes to you!
Hey...go to NSU's website and go under prospective students...there should be a link for application status. Then enter your student number and last name and it will tell you where you are in their application process. Also, im not sure...some schools seem to take a holistic approach with applications, others just need numbers...especially the LSAT...GPA just is not as important these days, unless a person has a really bad GPA. Its sad really because there are some great law school candidates that just dont test well on standardized exams...like myself. It doesnt mean that we will have troubles in law school; however a stronger score does indicate a likelyhood of during better, but it is still not always the case
Need your email to contact you.
Hey lillian, I sent you an email with the information I have on the AAMPLE program. Hope it helps. Best of luck to you!!
Hey, just to give you an idea of wait times, I sent my stuff in early February and still haven't heard back from all of them yet, so be prepared to be waiting well into probably early June. I don't mean to get you anxious, but sometimes they give people fast notice if they are auto admit or auto denies, if not then it normally takes a long time. I think that applying as late as you did may really effect your chances a great bit. If you have to reapply try to do it sooner. Good luck though with both schools.
Hey - just saw I had comments. If you applied to Nova, you should be getting an e-mail with an N____ #. You can go online and check the status of your application there. They also sent me an e-mail saying a decision had been made on my file. Good Luck! the AAMPLE program is always available. I know a bunch of people who were in it. I don't want to go to Nova, but it seems like it is my only option right now.
yeah i was offered the AAMPLE program.... Best of luck to you!
Any word from either of these schools? I'm still waiting for them as well.
Sending an addendum with this application will not do any good. You can try to explain your low LSAT score (bad test taker), but your law GPA gives no credibility to that case.
