12-12 - In at Georgetown via mail. It feels good to get that first one outta the way.

12-18 - Accepted at USC with the promise of an undisclosed amount of scholarship money to be offered in the future. I would love to go back to California if the price is right. Its hard to not be biased towards the schools that answer first

12-24- Accepted at UC Davis, which was probably one of my biggest safety schools. It's close to home, so you never know. No scholarship offer though, which is disappointing. Maybe I can ask later. Budget crisis is hurting the UC program right now. Also got an invite from Dean Cornblatt at Georgetown to apply for merit scholarship.

12-27 - Got into BYU via a phone call with Dean Hernandez this afternoon. We will meet next week to discuss scholarship money. Living in Utah doesnt so much appeal to me right now in the dead of winter.

1-16 - Finally, a long drought is over. I got into Duke today via email. Not my top choice, but a great school and a confidence booster after so long not hearing from anyone. Still waiting on a lot of places? Where are you UCLA?

2-2- Got an acceptance packet from Columbia today. I had kind of resigned myself to the waitlist. Wow. Not sure what to say...

Are you leaning Columbia or USC/UCLA? Either way, it looks like you are setup pretty nicely. Congrats and best of luck!

Congrats on the UCs! How did you find out about your scholarship info? Did you apply for the awards or did they just notify you via email/snail mail that you received them?
