Hi Maybethisislindsey, I am currently on the waitlist to UCLA and it is my number 1 choice for a law school. I want to do all that I can to get into the school. I saw that you got off the waitlist on March and UCLA doesnt start looking at WL applicants until May. I was wondering if you could give me advice on how to get off the waitlist and get accepted. I would really appreciate all of your help and support. Congrats on your acceptances and good luck on the remaining schools. I'm sure that they will all give you great news! I hope to hear from you soon! Thanks!--Lisa

Hi Lindsey, I noticed that you got into UCLA off the waitlist and saw from your comment to someone else that you sent in an e-mail to a director of a program you were interested in. Do you mind if I ask which program? Also, did you know they would forward it to the admissions committee? I am super stressed out because I really want to go back to UCLA for Law School; I guess it was my mistake for applying Early Decision (since it was their first year having the process). I kind of gave up and settled that I'd go to the East Coast, but after finding out that a lot of people who didn't do nearly as well as me at UCLA got in, I feel like I can't give up. In the past couple of weeks, I've had three letters of recommendation sent in for me, but I don't know how long it will take for everything to be processed at this point. Do you have any suggestions, especially regarding the way you contacted a director? I definitely have some programs I'd love to be a part of, I just don't know how to approach contacting them and having them relay the information. Thanks! You can just e-mail the e-mail address that I put for this post.
