Extra Curricular Information

Senior thesis. Phi Beta Kappa. Study abroad, internship abroad, research abroad. Student government, orientation leader, school publication, tour guide, worked on campus.

What school I decided on doesn't matter, but I will say that I took one of the full scholarships over Harvard. It was a difficult decision (and difficult to decide which of the scholarships to take). For me, it came down to how well I related to the students at the specific schools (they all have great faculty, great facilities, great programs) and one school definitely reached out to me through its current students way more than the others. I am quite happy with my decision! If anyone in the future has a question about my extracirricular information, the scholarship process, a timeline for applying, or how I decided upon a school, I would be happy to speak to you about it. Just send me a message!

Best of luck to everyone else in this process!!

Additional info & updates

Scholarship amounts are in 3-year totals. For full rides, I rounded up to the nearest $5,000 (I figured this would end up about right due to tuition inflation anyways). So for example, the Levy at Penn works out to about $108,500 but I put $110,000.

And yes, I turned down Harvard. I realized that I would much prefer an enjoyable experience and quality of life over a name.

The law school admission process has been an amazing experience.
I am so thankful for all of my wonderful options.

It must have been really hard for you to turn down Harvard, but I bet it will be worth it when you are debt free! Good luck!

congrats and questions =D

Hey! Congrats on your cycle last year...You did really outstanding. I am planning on taking the LSAT this October, but our extracurriculars sound a lot alike and our GPAs are the same. I wondering if you could share what you included on your resume--like your thesis, or more info about your study abroad or just that you did, did you give a lot of information about a few places you volunteered or list more places but say less about them. Any advice/help would be appreciated! Hope your second year of law school is going well :)
