"Received" is date law school report is requested
"Decision" is date on letter or of email or phone call
1/4/08: W&M acceptance with $8k/yr scholarship via priority mail
1/8/08: GMU acceptance via phone call. Large envelope with acceptance received on 1/10.
1/12/08: Small envelope with ND waitlist. Will probably withdraw soon.
1/15/08: JUST mailed my Dean's Cert. for W&L to my undergrad registrar's office... hope they won't take forever to pass it on.
1/16/08: Just received an email with my acceptance to GW and I'm pretty excited about it. Said large package should arrive Friday. This continues my streak of receiving decisions every 4 days...
1/21/08: Withdrew from ND waitlist on Saturday. My streak is over and I'm starting to get antsy again. Also, I just can't seem to motivate myself to write my essays for UNC and I think I only have about a week left to finish them. Yikes.
1/26/08: Just received a big envelope from USC with acceptance! Very happy to hear more good news!!!
1/31/08: I'm going insane. Should I even apply to UNC? I have no idea where I want to go... and I'm not going to hear back from a lot of these schools for quite awhile still. I need a very big, long-term distraction.
2/6/08: Just found out I'm at decision at GULC. Nervous, but I know I'd be lucky for a waitlist with my numbers... Oh well.
2/8/08: Sucks. Now I remember why I was so upset with my LSAT. Goodbye T14.
2/11/08: Berkeley rejection in the mail. No surprise but it's no fun getting shot down twice in a row.
2/16/08: Got scholarship offer from USC for $16k/year. I think it's because I'm across the country. Makes me feel a little better since I've been lying in bed sick the last four days.
2/22/08: Email acceptance from W&L. Happy to hear some good news.
2/26/08: Last night I dreamt UCLA waitlisted me. I think I was bummed. Maybe that shows how desperate I am to hear from these schools...
3/1/08: Rejection from Penn in the mail. No surprise. Didn't bother to write Why Penn essay. 6 left. Maybe they'll all be waiting for me when I get back from St. Thomas next week. I hope I manage not to think about law school at all on my vacation.
3/8/08: Returned nicely burned from St. Thomas to find a big scholarship from W&L that will definitely impact my decision in a big way. Not much else. Where are my decisions?
3/16/08: Waitlisted by American yesterday. No worries. Withdrawing.
3/21/08: Received UCLA waitlist in the mail yesterday. Don't think it's likely I'll stay on because it's highly doubtful I'll move across the country at this point.
3/28/08: Went to decision at UVA along with a bunch of other people... Hoping my trip to W&L this weekend will keep my mind off of it.
4/3/08: Visited W&L last weekend and it seemed like a nice school, just not the right place for me. It's hard to pass on that scholarship though. Received UVA decision finally - resident priority WL. I'm actually pretty excited about it, given my numbers. I have the chance to interview which I know I should take if I really want to get in, but I'm afraid I'll botch it and they'll hate me... advice?
4/15/08: Withdrew from W&M via email and sent in my deposit to GW. I guess I'm going to GW unless some miracle happens with UVA. Thanks Duke & Vandy for getting back to me in such a timely manner. Not.
4/16/08: Duke status checker says a decision was made on the 14th. No email so I guess it's a rejection. I wonder what my chances are for getting accepted off UVA's waitlist? I better impress in my interview. My heart is with my fellow VT Hokies today...
4/17/08: ... i'm afraid i'm getting my hopes up for nothing with UVA
4/22/08: WTF. Screw you UNC.
Also, I had my UVA interview. Pretty basic and easy. I guess we'll see...
4/24/08: Received email from GMU with scholarship offer yesterday. Don't think it matters much anymore.
5/1/08: FINALLY. Vandy decision mailed. It won't matter. Just happy to have my cycle be done... almost.
5/6/08: Got my waitlist letter from Vandy yesterday. Not planning to stay on it. My cycle is so boring and usual. At least all the (regular decision) waiting is done. C'mon UVA, please?
