Additional info & updates

12/3/07 - Sent my apps over the weekend. There has been a big delay in getting my recommendations in, but they should all be posted by the end of the week.

12/13/07 - Still waiting on two other recs to arrive...

12/27/07 - My GULC status checker apparently went decision while I was away for the holidays. Crossing my fingers that I get my first acceptance.

12/29/07 - In at GULC with a nice note from Dean Cornblatt. Great start to my cycle!

1/3/08 - WUSTL provides my first acceptance of the new year via email.

1/15/08 - Dean Richard called to let me know I'm in at GW!

1/16/08 - Withdrew my Emory application. It's a great school but I don't think I would choose it over my current acceptances.

1/18/08 - Decision at Michigan. I'll be stalking the mailbox for the next few days.

1/19/08 - That was quick. In at Michigan!

1/24/08 - Full ride plus stipend at WUSTL! That certainly complicates things, but in a good way.

1/25/08 - A great week comes to a close with an acceptance to Northwestern. I'm really happy to have another big city school.

1/31/08 - Finally complete at Cornell. Harvard status checker says "under review" as of 1/24 but I still haven't received a complete email. No idea what the hold up is at Penn.

2/1/08 - So...It's been a big couple of days. I received a Darrow invite on Monday and a Toby Stock email today. Great ways to start and finish my week.

2/5/08 - Toby Stock call today. I sounded, of course, kind of dumb, but hopefully not rejection dumb. Now I just have to wait.

2/6/08 - Today was the first day of waiting for both my Darrow results and a TS2. Apparently, I am really, really bad at waiting for things.

2/7/08 - Waitlisted (well, reserved) at Columbia. Not a big deal as Columbia wasn't really a top choice, but I don't think it bodes well for my HLS chances.

2/8/08 - Finally complete at Penn, my last school.

2/14/08 - Harvard! All I can say is "wow'.

2/14/08 - I'm going to withdraw from all my schools except Harvard, Michigan, Penn and Chicago. I'd like to see what happens with the Darrow and then I'll make my decision.

2/18/08 - Full Darrow! This is pretty much the end of my cycle. I'm withdrawing from Chicago and Penn and I'll visit HLS and Michigan before making up my mind about which one to attend.

3/14/08 - I'll be at the HLS ASW this weekend. Hopefully I'll have a clearer picture of my options after this visit.

3/18/08 - After spending a few days at Harvard I've gone from being resigned about eventually ending up there to being very excited about starting in the fall. Looks like I'll be HLS class of 2011!

Similar numbers here (slightly higher GPA and LSAT). Also black. You should definitely apply to all of the T14. No reason not to. I'd bet you get into half. Columbia, NYU, Stanford, Yale should all be on your app list! I'll be watching your cycle. Any updates? Good luck!

Hey CoWorker Back!!

Hey-Just got back from the soiree. I agree with the above posters. You should be applying to all of the T14 schools so that I can live vicariously through you when you go to Harvard.
