Additional info & updates

Well, as of today my cycle is complete. It was a long, arduous road, but it is over. I am happy for what I received, and I feel blessed to be able to go to law school. Thank you to all who wished me well, may all your law school dreams come true! A's for everyone!!! (unless you are at UNLV)

5/16/08-Waitlisted at Oregon today. Cycle is complete.

5/5/08-Withdrew at Quinnipiac today. I am sad to have done so, and especially sad to have given up such a generous offer. On the other hand, some other, very deserving candidate will now receive that offer...so good luck to whomever receives it!

5/1/08-Accepted at Roger Williams & Honors program & 75% scholarship. Very honored for the offer, but I do believe I will be attending UNLV in the Fall. Withdrew at Northeastern, and was very, very sad to do so. I just can't justify the money.

3/21/08-First letter, first acceptance. (wow, phew, unbelievable, I'm going to law school). In at Quinnipiac with 75k.

3/26/08-Accepted at Northeastern via phone call. SO excited about this one!

3/28/08-Accepted at Suffolk via large envelope, waitlisted at Thomas Jefferson-talk about ironic.

4/16/08-Waitlisted at DePaul, Marquette, and USD since last update. Not that concerned about the first two, and withdrew from both along with Thomas Jefferson. USD I am both disappointed and happy. I was expecting an outright rejection, but have sent them a LOCI and will eagerly await news. Thanks to all whom have wished me luck, you really have made my outlook brighter!

4/17/08-In at UNLV today. Huge relief, and a huge wrench at the same time. Didn't really expect to get in, so I had been planning other things. Oh boy, the next two weeks should be INTERESTING.

4/25/08-W/L at San Francisco. Oh well, they likely had plenty of applications with better numbers than mine!

Help with UNLV?

Have you heard anything from UNLV? Do you know anyone who has? I applied to the nighttime program, do you know anyone who has applied to this program and received a decision yet? UNLV is my top choice and I am starting to get nervous.

LSAT
Monday, April 21 2008 at 08:00 PM

Don't listen to Mike! The bottom line is that the LSAT is clearly the best indicator of how well you will be able to handle law school, and that is why every law school weighs that score more than anything else. Im sure you already know this, but I have to stand up for someone who also has a low GPA, but solid LSAT score. Good luck with the rest of your apps, and its good to know that law schools can see beyond grades!

I think your mistaken..

Obviously the LSAT does mean "shit"....maybe if yours was higher you would be in at Suffolk. Don't get angry at other people's success, it is isn't very mature. Grow up and play with the cards your dealt.

If Roger Williams is so bad, why'd you apply? Oh that's right, your shitty GPA...hahaha, you can't even do better than a 2.44 - that is SO HILARIOUS..it's so funny. You're so dumb and you know it..it's SO GREAT.

Seriously, don't waste your time with this bitter little boy anymore. The guy comes into your thread, dogs you out because you did well on the LSAT and then starts calling people names because they don't agree with him. Are you closing in on a final decision?

hell yeah!
