Just wanted to say how impressed I am by your profile. I'm trying to find some others who are applying to law school with a science background. Wishing you the best! Let me know when you start hearing from the schools!

yeah, I had to isolate myself to finally finish off my personal statement. I didn't end up even showing it to anyone. I'm so uncomfortable with myself haha.

A lot of it came down to not wanting to leave Austin (both the city and the weather), and knowing that the UT degree would set me up well for wanting for work in Texas after graduation. I've also been able to witness the strength of the social community through a close friend who's a 1L, and it's unbeatable...Texas students are definitely happy (okay, maybe not right now, no 1Ls are - but three weeks ago they were!) Anyway, I think that covers it. Basically, it had a lot of selling points and for my interests I didn't feel it had any major shortcomings. It looks like you've narrowed it down (congrats on the excellent choices!), but if you're still deciding, good luck with making the choice =)
