Additional info & updates

2 - 12 -- Columbia ding letter arrived via snail-mail.

2 - 10 -- Dinged by Chicago, email and status checker.

2 - 1 -- Got a rejection letter from UCLA today (dated 1/26)

1 - 30 -- Got a Hastings ding letter via snail mail today. With as obscene as their tuition is supposed to be over the next few years, I wasn't planning on attending anyway. Still, a bit surprising I didn't even get a WL with as far above their medians my LSAT is.

1 - 25 -- Got my Georgetown rejection email (status checker went DR on the 21st)

1 - 21 -- Dinged by Northwestern via status checker (email) the T14 is pretty much out of the picture at this point.

1 - 15 -- Michigan rejection letter arrived.

1 - 11 -- Decision at Michigan, but no admitted student's site (I'm not optimistic, as much as I'd love said decision to be positive). Also under review at Duke and Georgetown, and Northwestern says they'll be sending out some regular decisions in the next few days. It's shaping up to be an eventful week.

12 -16 -- Dinged by Virginia via email. Not many "splitter-friendly" schools left.

12 -10 -- I caved and called Cornell and got my (accurately predicted) ding over the phone. Two down, many more left to wait (im)patiently for.

12 -7 -- Cornell status checker shows "Decision." I'm not inclined to call and pester them, so I'm in for a bit of a wait while the mailing shows up. With some of the discussion over at TLS about this batch, I'm not all that optimistic.

12 -3 -- In at UIUC via email w/$$. I visited the campus over the summer while visiting family and we really liked it, so barring an acceptance from one of the stretch schools (Michigan-GULC) we'll be happy to attend there.

Most of my apps were submitted between late Sep and mid Oct.

What IS your story? Just curious why your numbers are so disparate.
