12/22/08 - Received acceptance phone call from George Mason.

1/27/09 - Was able to log into admitted student site for GW. Received acceptance e-mail from Anne Richard.

1/29/09 - Sending Declaration of Intent to GW along with deposit. Also mailing withdrawal letter to Mason letting them know I am declining their offer of admission.

7/13/09 - Deferred at GW due to serious illness in family. But am applying to schools in NC to stay close to family.

12/18/09 - Acceptance e-mail from Wake. Yeah!

1/12/10 - Received $25,000 yearly merit scholarship from Wake, renewable each year as long as I stay in upper 66.6% of class (still receive 50% if drop below that and am in good standing).

1/13/10 - Withdrew from GW (deferred from 2009).

4/1/10 - Seat deposit paid & received; still waiting to hear from UNC, but plan to attend Wake come August

4/30/10 - Received waitlist e-mail from UNC. Not really surprised based on this year's cycle...mostly annoyed at how long it took them to make a decision.

Did your acceptance email from GWU specify that you were in the part-time section? I applied for both but later requested part-time. Now I'm not sure which section I'm in...

I see that you wrote you were able to log onto the admitted student site for GWU... just wondering if they send you a username and password for that? How do people try logging on?
