Additional info & updates

4-2: letter from John Marshall Chicago saying I was accepted/waitlisted due to the fact that the fall class is full. If anyone drops out I'll get a spot for fall & if not I'm reserved a spot for January. Kind of a bummer b/c I'm anxious to hear back from schools & was hoping to have JM be a backup plan for fall.

4-6: letter from DePaul saying I was rejected - no surprise here. I applied to this school before I took the LSAT. I wouldn't have even applied there if I had known what score I would get.

4-12: email from Florida Coastal saying congratulations on my recent acceptance into the school - I haven't received a letter yet but apparently I've been accepted there.

4-14: Letter from Florida Coastal announcing acceptance & granting $12,000 a yr scholarship

4-22: Letter from Loyola announcing acceptance

4-26: Letter from USC saying I am waitlisted! Pretty happy - I thought I'd get rejected here for sure - which may still happen, but still happy.

5-1: Waitlisted NCCU & Rejected at UNC

5-6: Waitlisted at Campbell

SICK OF WAITNG.

You'll get in! Your GPA's awesome and your LSAT is within their 25th-75th percentiles.

Hey good luck with Campbell. Your high GPA should play a large factor. I believe their looking for additional out of state students as well. If you haven't heard yet its likely good news. You can e-mail admissions for your status. They are quick to respond. Good luck.

Based on what I've heard, Campbell is generally pretty quick about getting back to you for an outright decision. I applied after you and have heard back. You should at the very least receive PBAP offer. I think your GPA will push you over though. Good luck and I would not hesitate sending a polite email to Nydia in Admissions.

Hey congrats on FCSL. Any word from Campbell yet?

I saw one of your messages on another page, and thought I'd respond to you. I have a few friends at Campbell, and one of them got in with a 153 LSAT and a GPA a good bit lower than yours. She didn't really have any amazing extra curriculars, so there is hope. Best of luck!

Looks like we're both waiting to hear from campbell. I think you should have a good chance. Have you had an interview yet? Good luck!

Congrats

Hey congrats on Loyola. Its always good to have some options. Still keeping an eye on your regarding Campbell. They offered me PBAP. Not too interested...I'll likely be heading to Elon in the fall - very up and coming and has some really great programs. Please do keep me posted.

yeah I think my interview went really well. I even got a little postcard from the professor that interviewed me. I emailed Campbell about a week ago and still no response. Don't know what that means but it is taking forever. Keep me updated.

Sorry to hear about campbell...I'm still waiting but I'm so sick of dealing with them at this point that I am probably going to go to Elon unless they offer some kind of money which is doubtful. I can't get anyone to respond on my status to save my life. Good luck at coastal, I thought really hard about going there. I'll let you know where I end up.

Sorry to hear about all the waitlists. Do any of your waitlisted schools rank below FCSL? Are you planning on sending in the FCSL deposit and waiting to see what pans out? Still waiting to hear from NCCU myself (really surprised you were WL there!). I'm likely headed to Elon. Good luck - hopefully things work out from here... What kind of law are you interested in?

if you really want to go to campbell, send them a letter stating you will definitely come if you are quickly admitted from the wait list. can't hurt. it will be much easier getting a job from campbell than florida coastal

I'm in the same boat as you...Campbell has just been a big pain so I'll be going to Elon in the fall. Good luck in Jacksonville! Let me know what you think about it
