Additional info & updates

Had my NU interview about a week before Apps accepted (although the NU law website says repeatedly they don't start interviewing until October 1, you could start scheduling interviews in September as of September 1. No idea why they do that).

Should have all of my other apps out by mid-October. Praying that my work experience, letter of rec., and shining peresonality outweighs the piss poor GPA. Good luck to everyone out there, I'm sure they love/hate this website as much as I do.

Congrats on NU! That's amazing that you spent $100 on applications and are now going to your top choice. Smart move. :)

Ha amazing and painfully coincedental. The reason I waited on all of my other applications was because a Prof. I requested a LoR from an undergrad Prof.(my only academic so it was important) had decided to drag his feet. Yesterday was my absolute drop dead date where I was going to bite the bullet and send in my apps w/o his LoR (had 3 others from attorneys at my office) and then I got the e-mail from NU. Feetsink - Heard via e-mail from the Associate Dean, full details on acceptance won't be up until Monday. I actually never got an application completion e-mail, e-mailed the admissions office and they told me I would be getting one in 2 weeks. Still never received it so I just went to the check status website and requested they resend my Applicant ID and that finally worked. Raisondetre - Go 'Cats!

I have close to the same GPA as you, but have to retake the LSAT. My question is, who did you use for LORs?
