Touro - accepted (via usps mail) with $15,000 per year

02/07/10- in at Appalachian via status checker.
02/07/10 Just had a call--- Appalachian scholarship $ is 14,000 a yr renewable

02/10/10 JUST GOT A CALL--- BEST CALL EVER !!!!!!!
In at William and Mary--- Thank You Dean Shealy !!!!!!

In at Franklin Pierce via mail-$15,000 renewable

In at Quinnipiac via USPS mail - $15,000 renewable
Quinnipiac scholarship paperwork invited me to meet with scholarship comm. for an interview for consideration of additional funds.

02/23/10- received a call from Western New England admissions office. Accepted with $ 24,000 per year.

02/24/10- email from Penn St- rejected- that might have hurt if i wasn't holding an acceptance from W&M for the last 2 weeks.

02/24/10- in at Ave Maria with $25,000 per year

02/24/10- withdrew at Drexel- no way I would go there over the other schools on my list and EVERY time I had any dealings with their admissions office, the reps were rude and obnoxious.

04/28- received an unsolicited email from Ava Maria stating they had reviewed the offer they made and they would like to up it to 30K for 3 yrs (no restrictions) and will be giving me until May 15th to decide. The email also stated that I should feel free to contact them to discuss any concerns I might have.

glad to hear you'll be going to your top choice this fall; not too many people can say that. i just got in today, so im pretty pumped. have you been to williamsburg before? i imagine i should take a visit sometime before april. take care

I'm actually not sure what my top school would be. I would love to live in Charlotte but the school is provisionally accredited and it makes me a little nervous that they're so new. I've been out of school for almost a decade so my strategy was to apply to schools where my scores were above their 75% to make me feel a little safer - kind of a wussie way out, I know. I have to say congrats on W&M and also say I'm a little jealous. That school and the area has to be one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. I guess I lack some self confidence - I didn't think I'd get in and didn't even apply. Lots of luck to you, Williamsburg is awesome!!!

Also, moving right now isn't as easy as I'd like it to be. I could commute to St. Thomas (where they've given me a very generous $30k/year towards their tuition of $30,220). Nova is commutable as well. I'm actually having a really hard time making my decisions.

Congrats on your acceptances so far - and the scholarships. Question about FP...did your status checker change to decision rendered, or did it stay under review and date just change?
