The waiting is killing me too ! ! ! KU, MSU and Miami said I should know around the end of November so I am thankful I will hear from some schools sooner than later! Hopefully I get accepted somewhere so I don't have to wait with as much anticipation for the others!

Hi! I haven't received a letter yet, but someone called admissions and said that the decision letters were going to be sent either Monday or Tuesday for the people who have the "Decision made on file" status. So im pretty sure we are going to be finding out at the end of this week =) Good luckk! We have basically the same scores, so hopefully we will both get in
OMG! I am VERY surprised by that with your GPA and LSAT score. I wish they gave reasons why. Now I am nervous and my LSAT score and GPA are much lower! I'm sorry but you have great chances at other schools. Keep hope alive!

NCCU usually only accepts applicants with strong public service backgrounds and a stated commitment to public service upon graduation. If you didn't make public service the centerpiece of your personal statement, the rejection makes sense.

I really like Campbell. Take away the financial piece, and it is my top choice. As an NC resident NCCU and UNC are less expensive. So I am keeping my options open, and believing that things will work out the way God intended.

Thanks for the kind words! I have thought of reading for the bar in VA, but still hope to attend a school. I'd be happy to hear more about your friend whom you mentioned completed a conditional program. Specifically where they went and what the requirements were.
That's a weird rejection from NCCU. I know they're a HBCU, but they're not supposed to officially discriminate. Maybe they marked it up as a yield protect since you're from NC and figured you go to Campbell anyway? From the look of their charts, they seem to reject some highly qualified applicants.

Thanks for the feedback! I hadn't heard it put that way before. You are right. The in-state tuition is tempting!! I am visiting schools next week. I want to make some decisions soon.

I think that once you formally accept a school LSAC lets the other schools know. Therefore, after you said yes to Campbell they got word and saved you the time of rejecting them, and their hurt feelings :) The LSP says you were totally in at NCCU... so something must have happened!
Yeah it was a really tough decision for me. But it feels good to have a more of sense of where I will be next in the fall. I suspect that they give out more scholarships than they expect people to accept. But I am hopeful that withdrawals will turn into scholly offers for you and a few others that have decided to make Campbell their choice. Good luckto you!!!

W&M *is* temping. I think I would plan for Campbell, and hang on the waitlist. But that is just me.....
