Good luck to you! May I ask why you're not applying to Columbia?
The reason I ask is that based on your numbers I thought that was where you would naturally fall (like myself). NYU seems a pretty safe bet but HYS seem a little risky.
You're pretty gutsy yourself. No backups either, I like it. You're assured a spot, I'm sure. What's this snooping ad comm theory?
That if you put very specific things about yourself, Adcomms will look you up, discover your deppest law school secrets and intentions (ie-to go somewhere else, or that you have no other options) and adjust their eagerness to admit you and give you financial aid accordingly--and alas! your hand is revealed in this great game of five-school stud. It's far fetched, but I figure it's better to play it safe.
On UVa! See, there was no need to worry about missing that first call! But change your acceptance date to the 2nd, not the 20th!! Good luck on the rest of your apps.
And good luck on your other applications. Maybe we'll end up at the same school.
I'm thinking those full ride scholarships from Harvard, Yale, & Stanford are stuck in the mail. Also I think you're "snooping ad comm" theory is right, but you give yourself away anyways because your exact GPA makes it too easy to identify you.
My GPA is actually off by just a bit--not much.

So much for my concern about you not getting into HYS! Congratulations! I wonder how we'll both fair at the school we have yet to get into.
Also, despite us being practically twins, we have no acceptance overlaps, which is totally bizarre.

It was never meant to be. I take consolation in the fact that several other, more-qualified Stanford hopefuls got their thin executive envelopes today.
