It came down to Texas and Georgetown. Gtown wanted me to pay full price and Texas gave a huge offer so the decision was easy after that. Plus no winter helped

Its actually up to 35% non-residents I think- but I bet they are being careful not to over-enroll non residents. I am sure you will get in during the regular cycle

You'll get into NYU. I just know these things. You're a money guy. New York is a money place. It just fits.

Columbia

Why not Columbia? That's a great question. It just came down to applying to either NYU or Columbia and I just felt better about NYU. However, maybe I'll take a second look.

Texas

Pretty sure Texas is open now to 40% non resident... but early action is still restricted to 20%. I might be making that up but I think that is right.

What?!

NYU and Penn are stupid. Especially NYU. I guess my predictions above were a bit off. You've still got some sweet choices though.

NYU

congrats on getting into UCLA. if you dont mind me asking, do you have any insight as to what caused NYU to reject you? you said there was a small typo, what kind of typo are we talking about here?

You know... you really should have applied at Columbia. They seem to pick up quite a few LDS students every year.

Since you're in at some of the top schools, it would be much appreciated if you withdrew from BYU to open up room for the rest of us :)
