JD/MBA Applicant

Law Programs: 3-3-3
MBA Programs: 5-0

MBA:
(#22) IU - Accepted w/full ride (attending)
(#26) OSU - Accepted (withdrawn)
(#44) BC - Accepted w/15k per year (withdrawn)
(#46) BU - Accepted (withdrawn)
(#55) GW - Accepted (withdrawn)

2/12 - Accepted to BU's MBA Program. No word on scholorship because they make a single offer once/if you are admitted to both schools.

2/16 - Accepted at GMU Law via phone call. Nice to get one under my belt, but without a joint JD/MBA program, I won't be staying in Virginia.

2/18 - Rejected at UIUC via e-mail. Oh well, only applied b/c of the fee waiver.

2/19 - Accepted to BC's MBA Program. Offered a graduate assistantship and $15K per year.

2/23 - Held for Further Review at UGA Law via Status Checker. Interesting...

2/26 - Accepted to IU's MBA Program with a Dean's Fellowship! Full ride to the #15 b-school in the country and my top choice. Bloomington beckons...come on Maurer!

3/8 - Rejected at GW via snail mail. No surprise here, just wish I had saved my money as this was 1 of only 2 applications I put through without a fee waiver.

3/10 - Waitlisted at UGA via e-mail...that's surprising. Withdrew application immediately.

3/10 - Accepted to GW's MBA Program, no scholorship. I will withdraw seeing as I'm out at GW Law anyway.

3/19 - Waitlisted at W&M via e-mail - withdrew immediately. I wish IU would come through so I can just end this devistating cycle...

3/20 - Waitlisted at Boston College via snail mail. I am the waitlist king...will probably withdraw soon.

3/27 - Rejected at Boston University via snail mail. Expected, but still disappointing. Withdrew from the B-school. Why is it the two schools I was most contemplating and had the best chance at gaining admission to are also the slowest to respond?

4/6 - In at OSU Fisher School of Business. 5 for 5 on business schools! Should get a packet in the mail soon.

4/7 - In at OSU Moritz College of Law via e-mail. Good couple days, thanks Ohio State! One more to go...

4/9 - In at Indiana with (what will end up being) a half scholorship! Cycle over - Bloomington it is. I will commit to both the b-school and the law school on Monday.

Done. Thank God.

Eh, to be honest, I probably wouldn't have gone. But, to answer your question, I was held in December, I think. I'm a little surprised that you were held, since 164 seems to be the magic number, but probably just the late application. Good luck!

Congratulations!
