Additional info & updates

Very substantive legal non-profit work experience (2 years).

11/19: Admitted to Santa Clara via status checker. Acceptance packet arrived five days later by USPS.

12/04: "Held for further review" via Georgia status checker--seems better than a WL, particularly given that my numbers are on the low side.

12/11: Emery Merit Scholarship from Santa Clara via small envelope. $11,000/year with opportunity to renew (top 1/4).

12/14: USF status checker reads 'Decision Rendered' and the next day, I received a welcome email with additional information, letter arrived three days later.

12/15: American status checker reads 'Decision Made' and I received a large acceptance packet four days later by priority mail.

12/22: In at LSU, received a large acceptance packet via mail--looks like it was mailed the day before.

01/04: DePaul status checker reads 'Decision Letter Sent' with acceptance envelope arriving on 01/12. Offered Dean's Merit Scholarship of $15,000/year with opportunity to renew (3.2 or higher).

01/07: Pacific status checker reads 'Decision Rendered' and acceptance packet arrived on 01/12. Offered Dean's Scholarship Award of $18,000/year with opportunity to renew (top 1/3) and all first year books.

01/19: Admitted with scholarship via status checker to Loyola New Orleans, was told about scholarship over the phone.

01/20: Admitted to Arizona via status checker, package arrived a week later. Scholarship is $20,000 per year renewed if in good standing.

01/24: Admitted to Temple via status checker, packet arrived on 01/30. Included a $12,000 per year scholarship, with opportunity to renew (2.5 or higher).

02/01: Admitted to Oregon today through a nice big envelope. $9,000 per year scholarship, automatically renewed.

02/03: Received a 3/4 scholarship from LSU ($10,291 per year) renewed if in the top 33% of the class.

02/11: In at Tulane, with unknown scholarship, via email. Tote bag and packet arrived on 02/13 with $25,000/year scholarship, with possibility to renew (3.0 or higher).

02/25: Out at Georgia Law, after being held for further review. Too bad the streak had to come to an end...

03/01: Rejected, by letter, at Boston today. No surprises there.

03/30: Rejected, by email , at WashU. Again, not surprised.

04/01: Rejected, by mail, from Alabama. A little surprised at this one, but not that surprised, as I'd been "on hold" for over 3 months.

04/06: Accepted to UC Davis via email, it had been so long that I had even stopped checking my status, so this was a nice end to the cycle for me.

Hey! Thank you! I did a program as an undergraduate student at USF--which, once your application is submitted you automatically are accepted, hence my early notice. You have strong numbers for USF and I wish you the best in your application cycle!
