I'm with you on the soft factors and my GPA is similar, just under the 3.0 mark. LSDAS might get me on a brief transfer stint that ended badly. Hoping my international background will put an asterix on my WASPness. Also taking the LSAT this month, hoping to at least match your current score, good luck improving.

Thanks vbrasta, good luck on the LSAT as well. Your soft factors may not be outstanding, but atleast they surpass my intramural hockey, flag football, and co-ed dodgeball. I'm sure you don't hear this very often, but I wish I had your GPA.

Is an awesome school! I was really impressed them. You might want to apply to University of Pittsburgh as a 'safety" school. Temple is also a great school in a great city. They might show you some scholarship love too.

good luck. Maybe you shouldn't apply to UT. It would really help me if you didn't. Joking, of course. Good luck this cycle.
