Unfortunately I applied there a little late and they were out of scholarship funds at the time. It's strange that I got nothing there and then a full tuition scholarship from UF

Nah, not strange at all, they know they are/were a safety, they need that money to lure in students that are at least plausible, you got better places to be. Don't forget to negotiate up your scholarships of it looks like there's room to improve on the 509s.
Any scholarship info on UMiami?
