Hey, My LSAT isn't really that far off their median actually. Minnesota really surprised me. Good luck though it seems like you should get in!
Thanks for the congrats. I'm nearly certain I'll go. I still qualify for in-state tuition, so that makes it a very, very tempting offer, even if I get accepted at a T14... Many of the folks I talked to both in an out of law school think that especially given the current economic climate, top 10% at Wisco with little to no debt is a better deal than middle of the class at anywhere but HYS (maybe Chicago and Columbia, too). That does put the pressure on if I go there, though. I'd say if you end up getting in at Wisco, you should definitely go!
...to my post. What I meant to say was top 10% with little to no debt at Wisco is a better deal than middle of the class with debt at any other school (save, of course, HYSCC). It's interesting because some of the younger attorneys I speak with are hung up on rankings. The more experienced attorneys, however, focus more on achievements and have very little concern of law school rankings... I guess that's why I'm looking at the bottom line price tag with respect to law school.
Thanks Bob. Same to you! I honestly have no real excuse for my late apps, mostly due to procrastination and full-time job. I hope that the residency thing is a big factor in their decision. We'll have to see. Good Luck!
Congratz on IOWA!
hey man, still doing some thinking. Once I make a super decision I'll send out a withdraw. Good luck
yes, i received that letter as well. i will most likely be withdrawing though
I hope you're enjoying having a big blue "A" next to Wisconsin as much as I am.
Same to you... you have the in-state going for you though, but maybe i will offset that with being a year or two removed from undergrad! Good luck!
