Would you mind clarifying whether you are a URM or not? That would explain many of these acceptances.
Yes, I am a minority. However, the better explanations for these acceptances are the facts that I am tri-lingual, interned for a congresswoman at age 16, and, in addition to working throughout college, crafted my own major and founded a student organization. I am sure you meant no harm by your inquiry, but I hope in the future you don't assume someone's ethnicity accounts for their successes.

Saw your comment---those softs are fine (though I've seen similar), but URM status pulls much more weight regardless of softs. It's just the reality of how they do admissions, especially in the 509 reporting-era. Id be curious if you were MA or AA URM.
