Hi! Syracuse didn't send an email until after I received the package.
What letter? They sent me application complete a while ago, but I applied really early. I received an acceptance letter in the mail today. They called me a little while later to inform me of my acceptance. Only after they called me did my status checker change to "decision made and sent". The whole process was actually pretty drawn out.Any more questions don't hesitate. Good luck.
Hey, I found out I got deferred at Hofstra through the online application status checker. It literally says "Deferred until March." I don't think being under review would count you as being deferred, epsecially since many of the school I applied to took over 2 months to give me a decision, but I would check the status checker just to be safe. Hope your cycle goes well!
Just wanted to clarify this for you. LSAC GPA is basically your entire cummulative GPA for all of your courses you ever took. Your university GPA is sometimes calculated differently, as in, it may only include your last 60+ hours taken, or it may only include classes from your major, etc. Which is often why the LSAC GPA is different.
Donny already explained it for you, but to further his explanation: If you go onto the LSAC website and login, you will be able to find out what your LSAC GPA is. It is known as your LSDAS GPA. In my case, mine is lower because I earned a 3.4 in my three years of attending Temple University. Thus, my official GPA that I graduated with was a 3.4. The discrepancy in numbers comes in to play because my first year of college was at a community college, and, while Temple did not take my grades from community college into account, LSAC does. Because my GPA at cc was around a 2.8 or so, when averaged with my Temple GPA, my LSAC GPA became a 3.21. Hope the combination of mine and Donny's offerings have explained everything for you. Good luck with your cycle.
Thanks - and good luck to you too! I just recieved notice late yesterday via status checker at Albany (under review 02/03) that I was accepted.
Hey- I shot my app off them them in mid-November. Took almost 2 months to the day to get a response. I'm sure you'll get it! Good luck!
