I would lean hard on madison...they probably can be convinced with you, man. And screw Loyola. They suck.
I got an email about the scholarship just under 3 weeks after I was accepted. It was followed by a letter (just like the acceptance).
Hey there, congrats on all of your acceptances so far. It looks like we're looking at a couple of the same schools. My acceptance to Drake came today, and as far as I can tell, scholarships are not given without FAFSA information. How did that work out for you? Have you already filed a FAFSA and submitted that to Drake's Financial Aid? How did they notify you about your scholarship?
shouldabeat158- I'm not sure if my FAFSA was in before the scholarship or not (if so, it was barely in). I actually knew what the scholarship amount was going to be, as I previously received a letter from Drake encouraging me to apply, giving me a fee waiver, and telling me of a minimum scholarship amount I would get - related to scores and area of the country where you live. Hope this helps some.

Thanks for the heads up. I thought about Illinois (and Notre Dame) but figured they were too big of reaches. Kudos to you for making ND's waitlist! I hope you get in.
