Additional info & updates

Dates are accurate within a day or two, rankings are the order I would choose if getting in and paying for law school were not issues--but they certainly are. Bad freshman year was a strain on the GPA, last 2 years have brought a positive grade trend.

Scholarship amounts are 3 year totals, contigent upon very attainable performance standards for each year.

Comments are appreciated, good luck to all of you on your application cycle!

Hey I noticed you were also accepted at Charlotte. Are you considering going?

Looks like...

the ones you've gotten so far threw some pretty good money your way. Will that be compelling enough for you to attend, or are you holding out? Best of luck.

North Dakota

Given the tuition costs there (low, even for out-of-staters) it will be difficult for me to pass up ND. I'm a Florida guy so the weather will probably kill me, but as I am not a prestige-whore and debt is a big factor for me, ND makes the most sense of all of my "pending" schools other than FIU. FIU is my top choice...but they rejected me last year with identical scores (though I did rewrite my PS).

UMN... it cant hurt!

So are you not going to apply to UMN at all? I too am from Minnesota and was hoping to do a little better on the LSAT, but if its really your first choice its worth a shot! Have you thought about attending Hamline, St. Thomas or Mitchell and then transfering to the U at all? I got a nice scholarship from Mitchell and had considered it myself. Do you think that kind of thing would work? Thanks!

If you are thinking about tranfering to UMN after first year I heard some good news in that regard. Send me an email and I will tell you about it.

Hey, did you go to the admitted student day at St. Thomas? I am undecided now, but was extremely impressed with the campus. What made you choose the school?
