FEE WAIVERS: MARQUETTE UNIVERSITY, DEPAUL UNIVERSITY

Applied to Michigan State late but still kind of weird.

Guessing Southwestern is a yield protection-most likely will withdraw from waitlist

Congrats on Marquette. I was shocked that I got in there. How much do you know about the school?

I don't really know too much about Marquette; they sent me a fee waiver, so I applied, and was very surprised to get in. It's reputation is pretty good in Milwaukee but if you are looking to go to Chicago etc., I hear it can be difficult, especially considering the academic powerhouses that live there. Milwaukee is quite a contrast to So. Cal. I lived in Irvine for about 4 years, so I can tell you it will be really different. Milwaukee gets all four seasons. The summers can be quite humid, but are not too hot; nevertheless, the humidity makes it feel like you can't get any air until you get used to it - you sweat alot too.

Im curious as to the reasons you chose Loyola over Marquette, as I plan to have to make the same decision in six months (if I get in of course).

Thank you

I looked at Tulane, but I didn\'t like their internships compared to Marquette\'s. True I don\'t want to be stuck in Milwaukee for the rest of my life either. We shall see. Thank you again.

Thank you. One last question. How did you go about getting fee waivers?

How's Marquette?

I am glad to hear that everything is going so well. I am contemplating whether I want to apply to Marquette right now. Although, it has the sports connections and internships, overall education wise, I hear that Miami is a tad bit better. I want the connections and am a little envious that you got a headstart, but I am starting to see the benefits of having a well-rounded education, as General Counsel seem to be the utility men of sports law. Can you send me your email address. I definitely have some questions for you.
