Hey man, tremendous work and focus, you're an inspiration. I have to add on to what tampadave said, W&L is a top notch school. It's ranked number 26 in the nation, amazing job getting accepted. Can I ask how you studied? I'm in the same boat my man, I really messed up as an undergrad and my grades are all over the place, but I have a solid work experience and have numerous law related internships; in addition I also have tons of volunteer work and my letters of recommendation will all be written by lawyers. I just hope I can do as well on the LSAT and they adcoms will give me a chance to prove I'm no longer the careless guy I once was. Can I ask why you didn't apply to more schools? Why not take a chance right? Get at me bro!

Thank you tampadave and aurelius! I'm blown away by my acceptance to W&L and I'm beyond grateful adcomms are taking a chance on me they won't regret. I didn't apply to more schools because I wasn't really expecting much from this cycle. After my W&L acceptance, I've added a few more schools because I HAVE to take a chance. I'll be updating my schools soon. And aurelius, I'm going to inbox you.

When did you send in your American app? Congrats on all of your acceptances. I am in a similar situation in regards to LSAT score and upward trend in GPA as well as first in family to graduate. I know how uplifting it feels to have gotten somewhere that many people, like your law adviser, doubted.!
