Additional info & updates

Dec 19 - Accepted at Mercer via snail mail (small envelope). The envelope also contained a congratulatory hand-written note.

Jan 30 - Accepted at Syracuse via a huge packet containing a shirt and a window sticker. Note: the letter was very complimentary and did not appear to be a form letter.

Feb 3 - Rejected at UGA via their status checker.

Feb. 13 - Rejected at Georgia State via snail mail. Having my mom read me a rejection letter over the phone kind of sucked. Oh well, at least I already have two, very complimentary, T1 acceptances to "fall" back on.

March 11 - Rejected at Wake Forest through the mail.

Looks like it's Mercer. I've been to the campus twice now, and have been highly impressed with the facilities as well as the people; it's an all around high quality program. Too bad I can't start tomorrow ... looks like I have to get this whole "graduating college" thing out of the way first though.

March 16 - Wait listed at Villanova via email. This does not change my decision at Mercer, every time I have an interaction with the people there, I like the school more. Nice ego boost though, wait listed at a school higher ranked than one that rejected me.

March 21 - Paid 1st seat deposit at Mercer during Accepted Students' Day.

Congrats on your acceptance to Mercer, is it one of your top choices? Yeah I am bummed about the rejection at GSU but I sort of expected it. Good luck to you with the rest of your cycle. I can't wait to hear back from U of Tennessee...

Hey man whats up, this is Andrew from Quiznos. I lost your card that day at work lol, so if you could email me your info that would be great. I had a question though, when you went complete at Mercer, did you get a decision only via mail, or did it say on your application status checker online first? I was just wondering because I should be hearing back from them this week or next at the latest. I am already waiting on a letter from stetson, I just don't want to have to wait on another!
