William Mitchell PT

The stats for students in the PT program at William Mitchell are lower than those of students in the FT program. That's according to the Offical Guide to ABA Law Schhols. I would say, like most law schools, the PT program is easier to get into. There are also less apllicants to PT programs which is apparent if you search applications on this site.

Oh, well.

MSU

Thanks! MSU sent me an email letting me know I was accepted and that the official letter will be mailed. I was also invited to attend a New Student Open House this weekend. I'm going to go check things out. I'm hoping to get decisions on some of my other apps this week. It's kind of stressful since I need to find a new job if I leave MN. I'd like to go to SCU, but it's a reach. I'm also a little concerned about the cost of living. We'll see what happens.

I appreciate the congrats. It was weird, I got an acceptance letter from WM in the mail and about 2 hours later Hamline called to tell me I was admitted. It is a hard decision...I'm trying to make sure that I even want to take this step for sure---even after all the LSAT studies, essay writing, etc. I've never been a great decision maker but I think I just need to go with my gut. Right now I am leaning toward attending WM though. Traveling sounds great, I get about 5 days in the Florida Keys in a couple weeks, & then back to work. Good luck with your final decision...fill me in once you have it all figured out!

Yeah...honestly, I was weirded out by the Hamline $$. I got a random letter in the mail saying I got the scholarship--most other people found out about scholarships when they got their admittance letter. I suppose others have withdrawn and they have more money to give away now...anyway, it is extremely tempting. I am heading there tomorrow (I live close) to check out the actual law building. I kinda thought I was set on WM, but now...??? Have you gotten any closer to figuring out what you want to do?

Decisions

I sent in letters withdrawing from WM & St. Thomas last week before heading to Florida for vacation, which really made my Hamline decision sink in a little more. I'm excited, but I am going to make the most of this summer before school starts. Cali would be awesome. Both schools would be a good choice though. Keep me updated!

ok, i have to admit, i was trying not to laugh while reading that article...I can imagine the whole thing right now. I love Grand/Summit & go down there a lot...but if you've been drinking at all, it's just about the worse place to be driving because of all the stopped cars waiting to park & all the pedestrians, u know? That girl pretty much screwed things up for herself. She must have been pretty messed up to not realize the hit the mayor of St. Paul...or does she just not know who the mayor is??? Regardless...this doesn't say much about those WM students :)

Sounds like you made the right choice. You like the school, you like the location, and they gave you $$---can't beat that. Hamline has a Friday evening event for us next month...I'm interested in finding out who else will be in my classes!

You chose UOP over SCU? Why? I only ask since SCU is my first choice school and I am dying to hear from them. But either way, congratulations on all your acceptances. You had a great cycle.
