Additional info & updates

11/29/08 - Well, I finally got my applications out. Much later than I wanted, but I ran into a few problems with LOR's, but now everything is sorted out and out of my hands. For some reason, I don't feel very relieved...

12/01/08 - I can now say I fully understand why everyone says not to talk too much about law school applications while you are going through the process to people who are not going through the process. An acquaintance of mine asked me about my apps today, and I told her I had gotten them in over the thanksgiving break, to which she responded, "well, that's good, the only concern is that you submitted them so late". I got very unnecessarily grumpy and continued to be irritated about the comment for a good 5 minutes - and it takes alot to irritate me. So, from now on, I will be keeping my trap shut, browsing LSN way too much, and hoping a school accepts me.

Good to see you on here! I'm sure you'd have a great cycle if you sent everything off in February, so don't worry too much about being so "late." I envy the confidence you should have about your law school prospects.
