Additional info & updates

So, I took the June 2009 LSAT and did horrible. I am certain that I could have done better if I had isolated time just to study, but when you are working full-time, attending school full-time, a mother of 4, and taking a Kaplan Course, you don't have the luxury of studying like you would wish.

I've been a paralegal for almost 7 years. I volunteer in the youth ministry at my church and with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kansas City. I"m looking to practice public interest law and I'm not the lease bit concerned about attending a big fancy law school.I simply want a degree from a reputable law school that will give me the training I need to do my job well.

Although my score is really low, there are still several schools I can go to. Since public interest is in high demand, I doubt any public service agency will turn me away because of the ranking of the law school I went to.

I hope each of you are successful in your endeavors and more importantly understand that God has a plan for you and it won't be defined by a GPA or a LSAT score. Stay positive, and stay blessed.

Everything is possible with the power of the Lord. God Bless and good luck with this year's cycle. And if you can spare the time, try taking the LSAT in Sept. just from experiencing it once in real test conditions can most likely boost your score and maybe you could be looking at a whole different set of schools. God Bless!

Good Luck!
