I am so discouraged, I know I have a slim chance of getting in because of my LSAT score, but there isn't much I can do about it. I suffer from chronic migraines and had an attack during the test (yay me) so now I'm paying for it. In my personal statement I let them know why my score was so low, but I doubt they'll get past the score to read my statement...I just hope I get into a school I like...

So after getting my 3rd rejection letter I officially feel like I have a snowballs chance in hell...I am trying to be optimistic but it's hard when you see people with better scores than you not get in and people with real low GPAs get in where you want to go. Yes I understand the LSAT is important, but 4 years of work seems like a better judge of a person than 1 test...but that's just me...I just really hope I get a fair shot.

I am living proof here to tell you that even when you give up on yourself, God will not give up on you. I received a call from Ramsey Bridges this morning asking me if I was still interested in remaining on UGA's waitlist. I already thought I was rejected and had decided to take the LSAT over and apply next year. When I told her yes, she said that was great and extended me the offer to a seat in the entering Fall class...I just checked my email and realized they emailed me asking that I verify that I want to remain on the waitlist and if I did not my next Tuesday I would be removed. Well good thing they called because I don't know if I would have caught that in time... I am beyond speechless and am soo happy. Never give up you guys, because you never know what tomorrow may hold...

It seems like everything is just falling into place. Well since my last post I have sent in my money to hold my seat. The day I got to Athens I found my apartment which is 1/2 a mile from the school. The same day I headed back to Tallahassee to sublease my apartment and found someone the very next day. Come next month I will be living in my new place...I am so excited and a little scared since I know absolutely no one in Athens...but I'm still very happy!!!

Well I went to orientation and have started my reading, briefing and outlining for class on Monday and Tuesday...I must say that I was very excited at first and now I'm a little nervous. This is actually for real guys. Deep down I am still very happy that I am beginning this chapter of my life. But I tell you guys now, be prepared to work, read, and study like you have never done so before....Well this will probably be my last update...Thanks for all the love and support guys!!!

FYI out of over 3,000 applicants only 241 were chosen and by the grace of God I was one of them 8-)...
