Additional info & updates

Hope my cycle helps someone! I am so thrilled especially because in October I didnt think I was going ANYWERE with my 155 LSAT. Law School seemed impossible, and now I am going to a wonderful school at a great price. I really couldn't be happier.

Feb 21st - Rejected at GWU. Not surprised. My cycle is over, and very pleased overall. GMU is truly my #1 choice. I cant beat such a great legal education for $18,000 per year. I will be sending in my seat deposit this week!

Scholarship money is per year.

Feb 6th - Rejected at American. A little surprised because in the graphs I am the only person rejected with a 165, so they must have REALLY hated my application. However, it was the second app I sent and I wrote it at midnight and it had SEVERAL spelling/gramatical errors (like 4) so I am not too surprised. It was also really steep for me, I couldn't have been able to justify the cost over Mason with in-state tuition.

Jan 30th!- Accepted at Catholic via email!

Jan 29th- GOT INTO GEORGE MASON! THRILLED ABOUT THIS ACCEPTANCE.

Dec 31st - Great way to end 2008!!! I got my first acceptance to Richmond! Call from the lovely dean.

Dec 29th- 165 on the Dec LSAT! Will be applying to George Washington and George Mason in the next week or so!

Dec 6th - Im pretty sure I aced the LSAT this time! I would be hugely surprised with anything under 165, so I will probably be adding some of the George schools to my list!

Dec 1st - Well I have taken proctered practice tests practically every day this past week and have scored in the 170's! So hopefully I dont let my nerves get to me and I can reproduce that score on Saturday! Wish me luck!

My husband is in the military so unfortunately I dont have the choice of going very far out of the northern Virginia/D.C. suburbs. I am retaking the LSAT in December (I averaged about 10 points higer on practice tests) so none of my applications will be "complete" until after the December scores come out.

What did you do differently the second time around on the LSAT? That is a great jump!

Congrats on GMU! I have roughly similiar numbers and I was wondering has GMU offered any FinAid?
