Good luck! Waiting is the hardest part, isn't it?
Nope, but I dont think their award letters go out until later in the cycle! Good Luck
lol you had such a fast turnaround with FSU. Still crossing my fingers for the letter to come in. Also, I'm shocked at how quickly you went complete at all your schools!
I got an e-mail from Chapman today suggesting that I submit a LOR from a professor. So, I called them and I was like 'uhm.. one of mine is from a professor. He taught me for four years and is the head of the program I got my degree in.' and they were like 'oh.' I guess they don't get many voice majors and assumed he was just some dude who taught me voice lessons? lol brb crying.
Don't be mean =( I applied there for a reason, damnit! I'm not good at the LSAT apparently and couldn't break 160 like you. Don't look down on me and my school choices!
Hey! some adcoms read these thingys, I don't want them to see my friend shit-talking a school I applied to, haha.
=( stop being mean! I applied there for a reason - not my health! Have you heard from FSU yet?
I am a delicate flower! Also, I'm stressing like an insane person. I'm just browsing the websites of the schools I applied to and reading their course offerings thinking 'oooh, that's neat.' haha
I feel like you're playing an evil game with me. muahah I realy am hoping to get into Rutgers-Newark or Seton Hall atm.. although, if I get into the latter, I'd need a lot of money because I am poor, and they are expensive as hell. I hope you get a call from FSU! Check your voicemail neurotically throughout the day!
For practicality reasons, GMU and RU are probably my top choices right now, but it's nice to be IN somewhere! Congrats on your own -- all looking good :)
lol snail mail. I wasn't exactly anticipating an acceptance. haha. My mom was like 'are you disappointed?' I stared at her like 'are you crazy?'
Thanks! It's pretty much my top choice (unless some miracles come my way). We both have a bunch of schools left to hear from -- wish this whole process was faster! Good luck~
Sorry to see the WL at GMU... did you apply FT only? Or FT/PT? Possible to be reconsidered for the other program? It was mildly hinted to me that my GPA sucked (for FT), though -- who knows what would've happened if I only applied FT...
You can always transfer from PT to FT after the first year (and if there's room, after the first semester, from what I've heard). Of course, you might lose part of the summer -- I'm not sure how that'll factor into job recruitment...
Grats on AU! I hope your roadtrip is going well my dear! Now, pass me some of your good luck vibes since R-N deferred me!
Hah, UPitt is actually a top option for me. I have family there, and it's the only east coast school I've gotten into so far, hehe.
Congrats on your acceptances! any advice for next year?
thanks! my plan is to have everything done by the end of september, we'll see how that goes. not looking forward to this
So as a fellow WL/in at UF, I was wondering if you decided to attend? Pretty crazy 48 hour time period, but atleast we got in :)
Yeah, Probably the worst decision of my life starting pre-med but oh well. I Still have a million WL's but Im fairly certain I will end up UF the way things are going so far. Congrats to both of us i guess :)
Hey, congrats on choosing UF. I am on their wait list and dying to get in! Did they mention anything to you about remaining spots/current wait listed applicants? Nervously checking around daily to look for WL movement from UF. You can let me know via email if you want...thanks!
When you say you fudged your numbers to protect the innocent, what did that mean? I'm asking b/c Florida is really hard to get in, but I noticed you had a 3.1, although your LSAT was pretty awesome. Just curious, my gpa isn't great, I haven't got my lsat yet but I have lots of things I've done, volunteer, work, internship, etc.
Yeah, I'm retaking the lsat prep and the lsat in dec. So we'll see. I interned in Pinellas County. But I wouldn't mind getting a job in either Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco, or Polk - SAO or PD for some more experience.
oh hai again.
