Additional info & updates

6/2 ACCEPTED AT IOWA LAW!!!!!!!!!!!! This has been my dream for so long, I'm very excited. I just had to update my Law School Numbers profile so next year's applicants wouldn't lose hope after being placed on the waitlist.
3/22 Waitlisted at Iowa via snail mail. Very brokenhearted over it. I emailed admissions office, they said waitlist is sitting at 250 , and currently the incoming class is over admitted. Looks like I'll be making tentative plans to attend Drake and waiting this sucker out.
3/11 Visit at Drake Law. What an awesome law school! The setting was much less grungy than I'd previously heard (some Iowans talk badly about the south side of Des Moines), inside the school the facilities were awesome, and the student body seemed fun and intelligent. Drake is definitely my second choice after Iowa.
2/5 LSN site is malfunctioning, but I got a large envelope from Drake today! $18K/year in scholarship money. I love living in the state of Iowa, this is an excited acceptance.
2/1 Received a small envelope in the mail from Mizzou. $18,000 scholarship, spread out over each semester. That will make a nice dent in my total loans!
1/24 Just checked yesterday's mail and there was a small letter from Missouri-Columbia. I got nervous because it was so soon, but I was in! Very excited, Mizzou is a great school.
1/18 In at St. Thomas via large envelope. Excited for my first acceptance, and the "Dean's Scholarship" $25,000/year doesn't hurt, either!

I added you to my watch list. We've got basically the same numbers, both Iowa residents, and both applying to Iowa. I'm curious to see what happens. Good luck!

Actually, I haven't sent in my application yet. Hopefully I will have it sent by tomorrow. Then I'm sure I'll join you as I wait anxiously to hear back. I'm hoping residency is enough to push me over the edge. By the way, Congratulations on the St. Thomas scholarship.

Congrats on going 3-0 so far. Looks like we've applied to a few of the same schools. Best of luck with your remaining application at Iowa!
