(Insert generic story lamenting LSAT performance here)

I applied to places where I wouldn't mind living and working.

Let's see how this goes!

5/14/10
Waitlisted at ASU, which is absolutely ridiculous since I had to wait almost 6 months. Cycle is over. Official count: 7-3-6. Seems like the year of the waitlist.

3/31/10
So, I dropped my deposit at Iowa last night because it was due April 1. Then, today I get waitlisted at Wash U (which I totally didn't see coming) and then I got a really sizable scholarship from OSU. This makes OSU almost half the cost of Iowa in terms of tuition. This makes my decision even more difficult. I never even really considered OSU as a possibility until now. Also, withdrew from Houston today.

3/23/10
I just completed a massive wave of withdrawals. Hopefully someone deserving can take advantage of some of the scholarship money/acceptances I received.

3/16/10
Accepted to OSU today via e-mail. I like this school and location, but I'll have to see how the financial aid pans out.

3/8/10
Waitlisted at Utah. I don't think I'm going to stay on the waitlist for this one.

3/4/10
Admitted to Houston today via status checker. Took them long enough.

3/1/10
Withdrew from Florida today. They are requesting a traffic form that is IMPOSSIBLE for me to obtain since it is expunged from my record. Even the courthouse can't find the record! I'm in at Iowa, so I didn't think Florida was a possibility at this point anyways.

2/19/10
Accepted at St. Louis with a $42,000 Dean's scholarship. This was kind of a safety school, so I'll probably be withdrawing from here soon.

2/11/10
Accepted at Tulane via e-mail. Scholarship info and acceptance package to follow. They are also reimbursing up to $300 for a visit. I really like New Orleans and this school, so if the money is right this will definitely get some consideration.

2/1/10
Received a $15,000 out of state tuition waiver for the first year at Missouri and $4,000 for all 3 years. That makes the cost of tuition at Missouri absurdly cheap. I'll just have to wait and see what other offers I get.

1/29/10
Accepted at Seton Hall with a $25,000/year Teach For America Scholarship. Wow, this complicates things. Maybe I'll give Seton Hall another look...

1/22/10
Accepted at Iowa! Wow this is crazy. I didn't expect to hear anything back so soon (especially with a decision this good). This should give some hope to Iowa applicants with lower numbers.

1/9/10
Rejected from George Mason. My status checker went to the "You will receive a decision via mail in 2-4 weeks" about 2 days ago. I guess I got it faster since I was close. Oh well, at least the app was free!

12/21/09
First acceptance to Missouri via e-mail; the letter came the next day. It's a great safety school and I wouldn't mind going there.

11/20/09
First rejection, very blunt e-mail from Illinois. I applied ED, so I thought I would at least get some deferred or waitlist love. Not the case.
