Additional info & updates

05/01 - Received need-based financial aid award from Columbia. It's not much, but it's something. For the record, they don't totally screw you over on the $$$ if you ED. It was pretty much what I expected to get.

12/08 - Received my physical letter from Columbia. Promptly withdrew from all other schools via e-mail. Good luck everyone!

12/04 - At 4:35PM, Columbia Law e-mailed me a .pdf of my acceptance letter for Early Decision. My cycle is now over.

11/20 - Fordham did not notify me about going complete. Straight to decision for an early Thanksgiving surprise. Their status checker also doesn't work.

11/02 - First acceptance of my cycle. Georgetown by snail mail, w/ a personalized note. I am officially in law school.

10/19 - Cornell has a status checker which I didn't know about until today. No e-mail for completion, so I really don't know when my file was actually completed.

10/03 - Chicago has my complete application now. That was really fast. Probably because they went paperless this year.

10/01 - Just finished hitting the submit button 9 times for the 9 Law Schools I'm applying to. Total time for generating applications, checkout, directing LORs took almost an hour. Total bill came out to ~$800 (no fee waivers). Now we play the waiting game...

09/26 - LORs received by LSAC. They were sent out only 4 days prior. Nice work LSAC.

09/09 - Finished editing on all applications, personal statements, attachments, etc. Will continue to error-check until LORs come.

07/30 - Transcript GPA problem is fixed, GPA .01 lower than what my college reports, due to me receiving more A-s than B+s.

07/18 - LSAC missed one of my classes on the transcript, resulting in 3 less credits and a lower GPA (of course, they forget the class I got an A in).

I see that you were accepted at Columbia and are attending. I have not heard anything from them and I'm wondering whether you know if all acceptances are sent via e-mail first or not... Thanks!!
