I'm also confused by the U of M rejection, especially 'cause I thought U of M gives preference to U of M undergrads (assuming you are). Berkeley loves the GPAs, so you've got a good shot there though.

This is seriously disturbing, why the hell didn't they accept you! 3.96! WTf! It makes me question wanting to go there.

Plus, I just realized that they take the higher lsat as long as it's at least 4 points higher. They must really be againt receiving in-state tuition?

Tell me about it. I thought of U of M as my back-up school, but they got back to me so fast it made me wonder if I didn't screw something up on the app. Hence the second round of applications after the rejection. Perhaps if i had applied earlier...

The funny thing was...

The rejection letter from UofM arrived with a letter asking me to consider joining the alumni association. I gave it the same approximate interest I felt my app received.

I'm sorry you're having a tough cycle. Mine's been stressful too. Don't sweat it. They'll figure it out.
