Additional info & updates

04/15/2011: Not sure I want to give up my Ivy League dream. I think I'm sticking with Penn unless Chicago comes through.

04/10/2011: Found out I get a tuition waiver at UT Law AND I get to keep my $30,000 scholarship for living expenses.

03/27/2011: Surprise WL at Chicago. Staying on the WL.

03/10/2011: At least I snagged Penn. If I get at least $45K, I'm going.

01/31/2011: "Under review" at Penn. This is it, people!!

01/31/2011: Still waiting on Duke "10 day" priority track. In at Texas though. Depending on whether or not they consider me a resident, I could get free tuition there.

01/22/2011: "Info required; watch for email" - Duke. What's going on?

01/15/2011: Accepted at UBC!!

01/14/2011: Under review at Duke. Duke is the only law school with the option for which I did not write at least one supplemental essay.

01/13/2011: All applications except Stanford fully submitted. Took a week to do them to check for typos, etc. Since I'm late anyway, they might as well be really good. Wrote a socio-economic Diversity Statement for NYU.

01/12/2011: Finished "Penn and My 5-Year Plan" and the "Career Goals" essay for Michigan.

01/07/2011: 170 in December!!

11/08/2010: Registered December 12 LSAT, applied to McGill, UofT, and UBC last week

10/29/2010: 163...My worst PT was 166. Must've been lack of sleep and nerves. Retaking in December.

9/13/2010: Alrighty! October 10 LSAT here I come.

Have you read PowerScore's Logic Games Bible? The strategies laid out in that book really helped me out a lot. Speed naturally develops over the course of doing games over and over again, to the point that it becomes second nature. Don't despair. LG is widely considered to be the easiest section to improve upon, so you're in a good position. Great "soft factors" by the way, you have a compelling background story.

I thought I deleted all my "softs" but I guess not. lol Thanks though! :) I've put a lot of time into the LGB over the past two weeks (practically memorized parts of it!) and now I'm only missing 5 or 6 on a LG section, mostly still time-related, and about 6 on the other three sections combined. Do you know where I can get the very earliest logic games (1-10 and 17) without paying $30 + international shipping? I found preptests 48-57 in pdf format for free online but would like to save them until last.

Goodluck

Hello. I see you have a similar GPA and are taking the LSAT in June like I am. Great scores on the practice exams so far. Goodluck!

I started reading the Logic Games Bible, but after taking two practice tests, I realized I needed more practice on Logical Reasoning so I've been reading that. I am going to try to finish it this weekend and then I will go back to reading the Logic Games Bible. I will also take a look at the Reading Comprehension Bible. I am also trying to take a practice test every weekend. So far my results have been: 159 (diagnostic), 162, 172, 166. There have been improvements in my logical reasoning scores so I think that the bible is working.

Accepted before the lower score came in (I had some stuff going on in my life...) I was admitted first wave. The strength of my app isn't in its numbers.

Congrats
