Additional info & updates

3/17/10 Cycle is Over. Numbers no longer fudged. Hope they help URMs predict their cycles.

***

11/13/09 -- Got a package from BLS in the mail today, telling me to apply because based on my numbers i have an "Excellent chance at gaining admission." I hope so, cause i submitted my app almost a month ago...

11/28/09 -- Deferred to regular pool at Cornell,12/08/09 -- Ding email from GeorgTTTown, but, In at Maine via status checker!

12/18/09 -- Out at Columbia, but they suggested that i apply as a Transfer. We like you but not your numbers!

12/18/09 -- In at wash u via email! Makes up for the columbia ding. Being considered for scholly acording to email.

1/14/10 -- WL at Minn

1/16/10 -- Ding at GWU, i lol'd.

2/4/10 -- Full Tuition at Kent, No strings.

2/24/10 -- Wait Listed at American, kind of surprising akshually. I wager it is a form of URM Yield Protect, no URM with an LSAT above 155 seems to have gotten in, all were waitlisted, i guess they figure we're all bound for T30 schools.

2/25/10 -- 28k per year at WashU, No strings. Also Rejected at UDubb. The letter was actually hand signed by the dean, kind of strange. I expected this given the schools GPA whoring, but it stings. Oh well time for some whiskey.

2/27/10 -- Sending out withdraw letters. No money from bozo? Goodbye. UConn offered no money so they are out. "Free book" scholarship and "summer institute" offering from Loyola seems like a joke. Goodbye! 100K plus from pierce was nice, but i have similar offers from higher ranked schools, so i'll withdraw there too.'

3/5/10 -- Brooklyn offered 8,500 a year with top 50% stipulation. Thanks but no thanks.

3/9/10 -- more withdrawing today. Sucks to withdraw from hastings as i don't want to leave San Francisco, but i'm not willing to go for sticker if i get off the list.

3/26/10 -- In state discount at UConn

4/9/10 -- I sent tuition deposit to WashU back in march.

9/8/10 -- Minnesota finally dings me, two weeks into Class, but they want me to apply as a Transfer and even waived teh app fees!!!111oneone I'll get right on that guise...

How serious are you about Franklin Pierce? I ask because they're my number 1 choice. I'm finishing up my applications this week. I'd like to know how you do since we have pretty similar numbers (although I did not attend a top 10 school). Good luck!!

Even though ill be pushing it (scores generally dont post until Jan 4) i am really excited to begin my cycle. if you could provide any advice i would be grateful! thank you and good luck!

You never know, you might be in at Cornell. Did you get a put on reserve letter? Enjoy the East Coast while you are here at Howard. DC is a great city to be in!
