Additional info & updates

Fee Waivers: Chicago, NYU, Columbia, and an 18" high stack of others. Got an email from Harvard, nothing at all from Northwestern, not surprising because I am straight out of college

NYU acceptance= letter in a big manilla envelope, postmarked the day I was notified complete

Harvard acceptance= letter in big white envelope, postmarked Feb. 1 (2004!)

Northwestern deferred acceptance= letter in small white envelope- deceivingly like a rejection letter! They also offered me $35K/year, to start 2006-2007

Columbia- I'm on the "reserve" list. They'll review my application again in June and decide then, I guess?!? I think I'm going to w/d. (BTW, it came in a small envelope)

WL at Chicago with offer of admission for class of '09. Wasn't really expecting that, but I guess that's OK. That's what I get for applying so late! Now I've got a decision to make.

I didn't get a fee waiver from HLS... just a super-long email talking them up and encouraging me to apply.

Thanks...
